Robert has lead a great team of workers to build a sustainable trail at Lake Springfield.

The first phase is almost completed, includes a circular trail that end at Eagle Point. Approximately 80 feet above the James River, a spectacular view of the wetlands makes the perfect spot to see the eagles return in January and February.

Second phase is underway with flagging a trail west into the park.  This trail will be used for training starting Fall 2009. Third phase is planned for early spring 2010.

VFOM Inc. is in partnership with Springfield-Greene County Parks and Recreation, Special Facilities Division toward trail development in the area.

Rick Karlovich has put in over 40 hours on building the Greater Ozark Audobon Trail at Lake Springfield. (Phase I)
Thanks for all your volunteered hours of hard work.
