Started in November 2009, Completed May 2010 to the prairie.
With help from the Give a Day, Get a Disney Day Volunteers.

Colin Baker lead a group
of scouts at Lake Springfield Park as he worked on his Eagle Scout Project.  Two benches were added to the trail.

Thanks for all your help.






The Spruce Up Day at Lake Springfield Park brought 18 more volunteers to grub the tread surface and lay chips.

VFOM teamed up with Missouri Department of Conservation, Springfield-Greene County Parks, and Greater Ozark Audubon Society.

We thank the Walgreens employees and family for coming out to lay down wood 
chips on the Nature Trail.  The volunteers were treated with lunch by the Ozarks Dutch Oven Cooking Crew.  Thanks Dennis Slane and cooks.
